]]>Yesterday George was mascot for Charlton FC at the game between Stevenage and Charlton. The day started with a pre-match meal at Vals Kitchen in Knebworth (top food). This is Georges usual prematch meal venue. Grandma sensibly departed and George then set about dazzling the 4000+ crowd with his skills. Watching from the stands were his parents, both grandads and Jules. George showed plenty of skills and despite loosing he had a wonderful day. Well done George.

There were many types of racing and I tip my hat to everyone that raced as it was completely full on as motor sport generally is. I had a great day and the weather was kind. ]]>Me and a couple of firends visited Rome to watch the Champions League match between Roma and Bayern Munich. My first visit to the eternal city was unforgettable. Seeing Roma fight back from two down at half time with a Totti penalty winning the game 3-2 was fantastico. It was a great taster and I will return very soon as there is so much to see. Here are the pictures I took over the two days. Forza Roma!!!

]]>Yesterday our friend Steve was awarded his first black belt in Tang Su Do. Powered by Nicola's power chilli Steve managed four hours of moves and kicks. Never one to miss the opportunity to take a few picutres here are the results. I really enjoyed occasion and was made very welcome by everyone at Ska School of Martial Arts at Ambrosden. Thank you and well done Steve!

]]>I recently visited Duxford with my good mate Clive and his grandad. What a fantastic day.Clive was his usual font of knowledge on all things military history and his grandad served at Duxford during WWII working on Spitfires. I was very honoured to be in such company and it made me realise just how little I know about our military history. It was very special to get recollections from someone who was there. Here are the pics from the day and I hope you like them. I highly recommend a visit to Duxford but allow plenty of time as there is heaps to see.

Staples to Naples

]]>I have just returned from a charity drive from Staples in London to Naples in Italy. The car was an old Nissan primera which we brought for £150. The journey took us through France,Switzerland and into Italy. We had just four days to complete this journey including a demanding route over the Alps. Many thanks to Hitchin Motorcare who sourced and ensured the vehicle was ready for a 1400 mile journey. Finally, thank you to Martin, Tom and Jon who made this such an enjoyable experience.

]]>Today my friends the HOAG and SHOAG went to see Barnet play Charlton in a pre-season friendly. Wasn't a classic that's for sure. Used my new 1.7 teleconvertor. Really pleased with the extra reach on my 70-200 F2.8 but it did slow down the autofocus slightly. However it was a bright day and perfect for sports photography. These pictures are not for sale as I fully understand how protective clubs are over image rights.
